Its like asking why a trigger button on a console system doesnt pause the game. Default bindings for most PC games put the Tab key for an options menu. ![]() Nothing changed between the games as far as default key bindings goes. So what does the developer do? They shoe horn it in their game the easiest and most uncreative way possible by using the mic instead of the camera features.Ĭome on guys, try a little harder. youre asking questions like youve never played a dead space game on PC. There is no way to communicate via s either you have a headset or you will remain silent. ![]() Due to technical difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel has been shut off. So why do it now with the Kinect? Because MS is encouraging developers to do so, probably as part of a deal for free advertising on live. All I had to do was plug in a mic and play the game. But no we didn't do that because it is retarded. Worse, the Xbox 360 uses a mic that people use with xbox live already so really why have a Kinect if you can just support this feature with mic that probably more people have from their Xbox Live kits they bought 7 years ago? If people were really interested in yelling commands at the TV it would have been supported on the mic for most games. ![]() Not only that but it's been done by plenty of games before starting way way back with PS2 games like SOCOM. Using the Kinect for shouting commands at the game is the weakest, lamest, most uncreative way to use the Kinect.
